Course overview

Car rental businesses today compete on convenience and how quickly they respond. Most customers browse promotions on their phones, message the shop on LINE and expect to book, pay and get a confirmation straight away, even outside opening hours. Many owners still answer every chat by hand, check every transfer slip themselves and write customer details in a notebook, which wastes time, leaves them exposed to fake slips and scatters customer data.

This course is designed for business owners who do not need to know how to code. Claude Code acts as the programming assistant: learners give the instructions, check the results and make the decisions, while the AI writes the code. Over three days learners build the DriveEasy Car Rental Platform prototype with sample data: a promotion website with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, a booking and vehicle issue system on Supabase, an admin dashboard, and a LINE Official Account that answers customers automatically and verifies payment slips through a slip verification API. Learners finish with a working prototype online and know how to ask the AI to keep improving it. (3 days, 6 hours per day, 18 hours in total, Beginner level.)

Curriculum

Course Details

This course runs for 3 days, 6 hours per day (18 hours in total, 09:00-16:00), as a hands-on workshop offered both as a public class and in-house. Beginner level. Learners build one prototype, the DriveEasy Car Rental Platform, across all three days using sample data. Day 1 builds the promotion website and publishes it on Vercel, Day 2 adds bookings, vehicle issue reports and an admin dashboard on Supabase, and Day 3 connects LINE OA

to answer customers, send PromptPay QR payment requests and verify slips automatically. Unlike Build Business Apps with Claude Code, it follows one car rental scenario from the website through to taking payments on LINE. Learners use their own paid Claude plan and their own accounts for external services. The course focuses on a working prototype (MVP), so it does not cover writing code line by line, credit card payment gateways, accounting and tax systems, GPS vehicle tracking or installable mobile apps.

Day 1 AI-Assisted Web Development and the Promotion Website

Section 1: System Overview and Planning the Online Business

  • The DriveEasy Car Rental Platform: how the website, database, LINE OA and slip verification work together
  • Frontend, backend, database and webhooks explained in plain language

Section 3: Lab: Building the Website with Next.js and Tailwind CSS

  • Have Claude Code create a Next.js 16 project with Tailwind CSS 4 using Plan Mode
  • The folder and page structure of the App Router, at a practical level
  • Use Claude in Chrome so the AI can open the site and check its own work
  • The instruct, review, refine loop, and rolling back when the result is not right

Section 4: Designing the Car Rental Promotion Pages

  • Home page: a promotion hero banner, the shop's strengths and a clear booking button
  • Car list: car cards with photos, seats, transmission type and daily price
  • Promotions, rental terms, required documents and FAQ pages
  • LINE OA and phone contact buttons that work well on mobile

Section 5: Publishing the Website and Search Basics

  • Keep the code on GitHub and deploy to Vercel
  • Connect the shop's own domain name (if available)
  • Local business SEO: title, description and Open Graph for sharing on Facebook and LINE
  • Check speed and display on mobile devices

Section 8: Lab: The Online Booking Form

  • A form for renter details, pick-up and return dates, pick-up location and preferred model

  • Validate input and prevent double bookings of the same car
  • Generate a booking code to reference in LINE

  • Create a Messaging API channel in the LINE Developers Console

  • Build a webhook endpoint in Next.js and verify the signature for security
  • Message quota: reply messages do not count towards it, while push messages count against the plan

Section 14: Lab: Answering Customers Automatically on LINE

  • Answer common questions by keyword, such as prices, promotions, documents and opening hours
  • Rich menu: promotions, book a car, check a booking, report a problem, talk to staff
  • Check status with a booking code and link the customer's LINE account to the booking
  • Booking summaries with Flex Messages that are easy to read and look professional

Section 15: Lab: Payment Requests with PromptPay QR

  • Generate a PromptPay QR code for the amount of each booking
  • Send the booking details and QR code to the customer on LINE
  • Set a payment deadline and send a reminder before it expires
  • Hand over to staff when the customer wants to talk to a person

Section 16: Lab: Automatic Slip Verification and Payment Confirmation

  • How a slip verification API works: read the QR code on the slip and check it against the transaction data
  • Receive slip images from LINE and verify them through EasySlip or SlipOK
  • Check three conditions: the amount matches the booking, the receiving account is correct and the slip has not been used before
  • Update the booking status, confirm with the customer and notify the owner
  • Handle exceptions such as unclear slips, wrong amounts or API outages by passing them to staff

Section 17: Preparing the System for Real Use

  • Switch from sample data to the shop's real data
  • Review API key security and access rights before going live
  • Estimate monthly costs for hosting, database, LINE OA and the slip API
  • Ask Claude Code to improve, fix and add features on your own after the course

Section 18: Master Workshop: DriveEasy End to End

  • A customer sees a promotion on the website, books a car and receives a booking summary with a PromptPay QR code on LINE
  • The customer sends back the slip, and the system verifies it, confirms the booking and notifies the owner automatically
  • Workshop: test exception cases such as a reused slip, a wrong amount and a customer reporting a problem during the rental
