Course Details
A 2-day course, 6 hours per day (12 hours in total), delivered as a hands-on workshop with a capstone project. Beginner to Intermediate level, no AI background required. Learners take home a design prompt library, a design assistant (Custom GPT/Gem), concept and quote templates, and a copyright and PDPA checklist.
Day 1: AI for Concepts, Images and Presentation
Section 1: AI in Interior Design and Home Work
- An overview of generative AI in interior design work and what changes in the process
- AI use cases: concepts, mood boards, portfolio images, content, customer care and documents
- Choosing the right AI tool and communicating AI-generated images truthfully
Section 2: Prompts and Studio Style
- A good prompt structure for design work: role, style, space, customer group and output format
- Setting a consistent studio style and brand tone and using examples to keep the tone
- Building a prompt library for recurring work
Section 3: Concepts, Mood Boards and Presentation
- Using AI to help create concepts, mood boards and inspiration sets for clients
- Presenting ideas so clients can visualize them clearly while stating they are concept images
- Workshop: build a concept and mood board for a brief with AI
Section 4: Images and Portfolio Media with AI
- Using AI and Canva to create concept illustrations, portfolio media and banners professionally
- Making images attractive and truthful while respecting copyright and not misleading clients
- Workshop: design one portfolio media piece or banner with AI and Canva
Section 5: Customer Care and Basic Quotes
- Using AI to help answer customers, give service information and draft basic quotes in multiple languages
- Building FAQ and service message sets while verifying numbers and terms before real use
- Workshop: prepare a service message set and draft a basic quote with AI
Day 2: Coordination, Assistants, Administration and Automation
Section 6: Coordination and Project Documents
- Using AI to help prepare coordination documents with teams and contractors and summarize scope
- Building checklists and basic timelines while verifying before real use
- Workshop: build a coordination document or project checklist with AI
Section 7: Chatbots and Design Assistants
- Building a Custom GPT or Gem as an assistant answering customer questions on service, style and work steps
- Embedding studio data and FAQ for consistent, on-brand results and connecting to LINE OA
- Workshop: build one design assistant to answer common questions
Section 8: Documents and Administration
- Using AI to help with documents, quotes and coordination with clients and the team
- Summarizing meetings and preparing basic operations reports
- Managing data and documents systematically, being careful with sensitive data
Section 9: Design Automation with n8n
- Setting up automation with n8n, such as lead care, queuing content and customer follow-up
- Connecting data across tools and channels with access control
- Workshop: design one simple automation flow for the studio
Section 10: Copyright, Customer Data and PDPA
- Using AI responsibly, respecting image copyright and communicating concept images truthfully
- Customer and project data to be careful with: what can and cannot go into AI
- Personal data under PDPA and setting the team's AI usage guideline
Section 11: Capstone Project and Real-world Adoption
- Task: set up an end-to-end AI toolkit for the learner's interior design work, from concepts and images to customer care, an assistant and coordination
- Present the work and get feedback from the instructor and peers
- A first-30-days adoption plan and setting up AI use for the whole team
