Course Details
A 2-day course, 6 hours per day (12 hours in total), delivered as a hands-on workshop with a capstone project. Beginner to Intermediate level, no AI background required. Learners take home a hotel prompt library, a hotel assistant (Custom GPT/Gem), content and room-description templates, and a data-accuracy and PDPA checklist.
Day 1: AI for Marketing, Content and Guest Service
Section 1: AI in Hotel and Resort Work
- An overview of generative AI in hotel and resort work and what changes in the process
- AI use cases: marketing, content, images, guest service, booking, reviews and administration
- Choosing the right AI tool for each task
- AI limits and verifying room and price data for accuracy
Section 2: Prompts and Hotel Brand Tone
- A good prompt structure for hotel work: role, accommodation type, guest group and output format
- Setting a consistent hotel brand tone and voice
- Using examples to keep content and communication style consistent
- Building a hotel prompt library for recurring work
Section 3: Hotel Marketing and Content
- Using AI to create content, captions and post plans for social media
- Writing room descriptions and packages on OTAs that attract and target guests
- Tailoring messages to each platform and guest group without over-communicating
- Workshop: create a hotel content and room-description set with AI
Section 4: Images and Promotional Media with AI
- Using AI and Canva to create professional hotel images and promotional media
- Approaches to making promotional images attractive and truthful, without misleading guests
- Preparing media for packages, festive periods and promotional campaigns
- Workshop: design one hotel image or promotional media piece with AI and Canva
Section 5: Guest Service and Booking
- Using AI to help answer guest chats and give appropriate room and service information
- Managing bookings and following up with interested guests, with multilingual service
- Preparing standard answer sets and FAQ for the service team and front office
- Workshop: prepare a hotel service message set and booking FAQ with AI
Day 2: Reviews, Assistants, Administration and Automation
Section 6: Review Management and Guest CRM
- Using AI to summarize and analyze guest reviews and feedback (sentiment)
- Drafting professional, guest-winning review replies for both positive and negative reviews
- Caring for guests and follow-up communication to create memorable experiences (on masked data)
- Workshop: prepare a review-reply and guest-care message set with AI
Section 7: Chatbots and Hotel Assistants
- Building a Custom GPT or Gem as an assistant answering guest questions on rooms, services and travel
- Embedding hotel data and FAQ for consistent, on-brand results
- Connecting the assistant to LINE OA and handing off to the team when needed
- Workshop: build one hotel assistant to answer common questions
Section 8: Documents and Hotel Administration
- Using AI to help with documents, forms and hotel admin work
- Summarizing meetings and preparing basic operations reports
- Managing data and documents systematically, being careful with sensitive data
Section 9: Hotel Automation with n8n
- Setting up hotel automation with n8n, such as booking confirmations and pre-arrival messages
- Requesting post-stay reviews and following up with guests systematically
- Connecting data across channels for a complete guest view, with access control
- Workshop: design one simple automation flow for the hotel
Section 10: Guest Data, Security and PDPA
- Controlling the accuracy of room data, prices and terms before publishing
- Guest data to be careful with: what can and cannot go into AI, and masking data before use
- Guest personal data under PDPA and setting the team's AI usage guideline
Section 11: Capstone Project and Real-world Adoption
- Task: set up an end-to-end AI toolkit for the learner's hotel work, from marketing and content and guest service to a hotel assistant and review management
- Present the work and get feedback from the instructor and peers
- A first-30-days adoption plan and setting up AI use for the whole hotel team
