Course Details
A 2-day course, 6 hours per day (12 hours in total), delivered as a hands-on workshop with a capstone project. Beginner to Intermediate level, no AI background required. The course focuses on marketing, service and administration, not diagnosis or treatment. Learners take home a clinic prompt library, a clinic assistant (Custom GPT/Gem), content and service FAQ templates, and an ethics, advertising and PDPA checklist.
Day 1: AI for Marketing, Content and Patient Service
Section 1: AI in Dental Clinic Work
- An overview of generative AI in dental clinic work and what changes in the process
- AI use cases: marketing, content, images, patient service, CRM and administration
- Key scope: AI helps with marketing and service, not diagnosis or treatment
- Cautions on medical-service advertising rules and ethical AI use
Section 2: Prompts and Clinic Brand Tone
- A good prompt structure for clinic work: role, patient group, service and output format
- Setting a consistent, trustworthy clinic brand tone and voice
- Using examples to keep content and communication style consistent
- Building a clinic prompt library for recurring work
Section 3: Marketing and Educational Content
- Using AI to create oral-health educational content, captions and post plans
- Writing promotions and messages that attract without over-promising or breaking advertising rules
- Tailoring content to each platform and patient group
- Workshop: create an educational content and promotional caption set for the clinic with AI
Section 4: Images and Promotional Media with AI
- Using AI and Canva to create professional clinic images and promotional media
- Guidelines for using before-after and case images ethically, transparently and with consent
- Cautions on using AI-generated images so they don't over-communicate or mislead
- Workshop: design one clinic image or promotional media with AI and Canva
Section 5: Patient Service and Appointments
- Using AI to help answer patient chats and give appropriate basic service information
- Preparing standard answer sets and FAQ for the front desk and service team
- Helping manage appointments and follow up with interested patients
- Workshop: prepare a clinic service message set and appointment FAQ with AI
Day 2: CRM, Recall, Clinic Assistants and Ethics
Section 6: Patient CRM and Post-treatment Care
- Using AI to help care for patients and follow up appropriately
- Preparing appointment reminders, recall notices and returning-patient care messages
- Providing general oral-health care information (without individual treatment advice)
- Workshop: prepare a patient-care, reminder and recall message set with AI
Section 7: Chatbots and Clinic Assistants
- Building a Custom GPT or Gem as an assistant answering patient questions on services, prices and preparation
- Embedding service data and FAQ for consistent, on-brand results
- Connecting the assistant to LINE OA and handing off to the team when needed
- Workshop: build one clinic assistant to answer common questions
Section 8: Documents and Clinic Administration
- Using AI to help with documents, forms and clinic admin work
- Summarizing meetings and preparing basic operations reports
- Managing data and documents systematically, being careful with sensitive data
Section 9: Clinic Automation with n8n
- Setting up clinic automation with n8n, such as appointment reminders and confirmations
- Automated recall notices and requesting reviews after treatment systematically
- Connecting data across channels for a complete patient view, with access control
- Workshop: design one simple automation flow for the clinic
Section 10: Ethics, Advertising, Data Security and PDPA
- Medical-service advertising rules and ethical communication that doesn't mislead
- Patient data is sensitive: what can and cannot go into AI, and masking data before use
- Personal and health data under PDPA and consent for using images and data
- Setting the clinic's responsible AI usage guideline
Section 11: Capstone Project and Real-world Adoption
- Task: set up an end-to-end AI toolkit for the learner's clinic work, from marketing and content and patient service to a clinic assistant and patient care
- Present the work and get feedback from the instructor and peers
- A first-30-days adoption plan and setting up ethical AI use for the whole clinic team
